Born and raised on Long Island, I have had the unique opportunity to live within 20 minutes of both the North and South Shores of Long Island. Living in such close proximity of the Atlantic Ocean, the Great South Bay and the Long Island Sound has gifted me with such rich and varied inspirational subject matter. In addition to the beautiful miles of shoreline, there are also vineyards and farmlands, picturesque small towns, flower arboretums, zoos aquariums, nature walks and quick train rides into NYC.
We spend a lot of our vacation time in the northwest region of Vermont. The serene valley and farm views as well as those of the Green Mountain Range of Vermont and the Adirondacks across Lake Champlain are featured in my paintings as well.
Inspiration is everywhere.
